Obituary of Lorenzo Diaz

Lorenzo Diaz "Lolo", age 90 years, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2016 at his home in Camden. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Rodriguez) for 65 years. Devoted father of Digna M. Quiles, Noemi Gonzalez (William), Eva Sanchez (Rafael) and George Diaz. Loving grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 14. Also survived by daughter in law, Theresa Belencire-Diaz, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement in 1991, Lorenzo was employed with the Camden Housing Authority for many years. He was a founding member of the former Our Lady of Fatima Church, Holy Name Society in Camden and was an avid Phillies fan. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
