Obituary of Guido Farina

Guido J. Farina, Sr., age 86 of Maple Shade, formerly of Camden, was called home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Verna I. (nee Smith); Devoted father of Patricia (Cliff) Schemelia, Ines (Charles) Lindner, Sharon Farina, Debra (Michael) Irizarry, Ricky (Carmelita) Farina, Verna (Anthony) Phelps and the late Guido (Celinda) Farina, Jr.; Loving grandfather of 24, and great grandfather of 29; Dear brother of Theresa Dandrea and Renarda DeLuca; Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Prior to retirement, Guido worked as a mason with Union Local #5 in New Brunswick. He was an avid Flyers, Eagles & Phillies fan, and he also enjoyed "window shopping" at his favorite store, the Christmas Tree Shoppe. He will be remembered by his children for his unconditional love and how he always would bless his wife's grave with flowers. Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & funeral on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM and Friday 10 to 11:00 AM at the Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home 6600 Browning Road in Pennsauken. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
