Obituary of Elaine Meehan

Elaine Meehan (nee Gordon), age 87 of Pennsauken, passed away at JFK Hospital in Washington Township on March 7, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Thomas S. Sr.; Devoted mother of Helena (Dennis) Gerber and the late Thomas S. Jr.; Loving grandmother of Erik T. Apperson (Blanca), and great grandmother of Francesco, Jaliesa and Thomas; Dear sister of John Gordon and Mary Lou Fighera (Frank), and sister in law of Jane Gordon and Catherine Rodebaugh. Elaine enjoyed her life, going out to eat, reading, church, and feeding the birds, even the turkeys. She loved Githens Avenue and all that went on. She especially loved her family and was thrilled with the birth of her great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday from 9:15 to 10:15 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 236 E. Main Street in Maple Shade. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr.
