Obituary of Gladys Rivera-Cabrera

Gladys M. Rivera-Cabrera, 67 years, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2016 at her home in Camden surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of the late Patricia and Augustin Cabrera. Devoted mother of Jose Rivera, Jr. and the late Lissette Rivera. Loving grandmother of Joshua and Elijah Torres. Cherished companion for many years of Jose Rivera, Sr. Dear sister of Jose Cabrera. Also survived by two aunts, Mini Aquino and Rosita Roman and many loving cousins. Prior to her illness, Gladys was employed as a nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden for 23 years and then at Life at Lourdes for 2 years. She liked going to the casinos, gardening and travelling. Gladys enjoyed being with family and hosting and attending family gatherings, but most of all she loved raising her two grandsons. She worked hard so she could give them everything they needed and more. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday evening at 8 PM and Tuesday morning at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
