Obituary of Gertrude Yannetti

Gertrude J. Yannetti (nee O'Brien) died peacefully at her home in Pennsauken on January 22, 2016 at the age of 86. Trudy is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" and her two sons Robert (Karen) and William (Marge), her sister Jean Kline and brother Joseph O'Brien, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Trudy was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in NJ. She attended grade school at St. Peter's parish and high school in Merchantville. She graduated from the New Jersey Teachers College at Trenton in 1951 with a degree in elementary education and taught in the Pennsauken school system for over 20 years. She was an active parishioner at the Church of St. Peter in Merchantville for most of her life and a member of St. Stephen's for the last few years. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday from 9-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Rd in Pennsauken. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
