My sympathy to Linda's dear family. When our loved one has fallen asleep in death, there is comfort from the Scriptures to get us through the hard times. Jeremiah 29:11,12 says, "For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,' declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope. And you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Jehovah God wants to help those who are grieving and has given the hope that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. And the righteous will live forever on the earth. Acts 24:15, Psalms 37:29. Such a joyous time that will be. jw.org
