Funeral Information for Mr. Walter Arthur Hans Home: Maple Shade, NJ Birthdate: March 17, 1935 Place of Birth: Germany Date of Death: March 16, 2013 Age: 77 Biography: Walter Arthur Hans, age 77 of Maple Shade,  passed away suddenly on March 16, 2013 .  Beloved husband of Lorraine J. (nee Schmidt).  Devoted father of Michael, Jennifer Vogt and Christopher.  Loving grandfather of Tyler. Walter was born and raised in Germany.  He was an avid traveler of the world before settling down in Maple Shade, NJ to raise his family.  Walter was an active member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Maple Shade for over 35 years.  He and his wife, Lorraine were the Sunday School coordinators for 18 years and Walter also served as a lay reader and member of the church council. He was involved with the Boy Scout Pack and Troop 28 for over 35 years, serving as Eagle Scout Coordinator.  Walter helped over 20 scouts reach the rank of Eagle.  He also enjoyed coaching his childrens soccer teams for many years.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 26 S. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, NJ 08052.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Falco/CARUSO & Leonard Funeral Homes.
