Father Hope was a dear friend to my family especially my son, Nicholas while he was pastor at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Millville. Nicholas and my son, Billy went to school there. When Nicholas was 10 yrs. old they found a brain tumor. He was in Childrens Hosp. in Phila. and Father Hope made the trip up there to be with us and pray with us. Nicholas loved him, he even invited Father to dinner without telling me. Then he invited our family to the rectory for dinner. It was a very nice evening. We always kept in contact with him, then in 2000 Nicholas had a stroke that left him completely disabled. Father Hope was in Cherry hill then but made the trip down to Millville to see him, Nicholas was thrilled, he got so excited. He visited us 4 times, bringing other priests with him sometimes. Nicholas loved his visits. He even invited us to come up to Cherry Hill so Nicholas could see the Christmas decorations where he was living. Nicholas had a great day, and so did we. I loved his sense of humor. We are so sorry for your loss, we will always remember him with love. sincerely, the Dimsha Family, Larry, Carol, Nicholas and Billy
