DEAR STELLA PAT AND FRANK....MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON READING OF THE LOSS OF YOUR DEAR MOTHER. SHE WAS THE MOST HARD WORKING AND POSITIVE THINKING PERSON I HAVE EVER KNOWN. NO MATTER HOW BAD THINGS GOT IN THOSE EARLY DAYS IN SOUTH CAMDEN, SHE ALWAYS HAD A POSITIVE OUTLOOK AS TO GETTING THROUGH ANY SITUATION. OF COURSE YOU ALL KNOW MY MOTHER CONSIDERED HER TO BE HER BEST FRIEND. SHE ALWAYS REFERRED TO HER AS MAIMIE MAELO, BECAUSE THEY KNEW EACH OTHER SINCE CHILDHOOD. AND TO SEE THAT MAE WAS BORN JUNE 3 1913, REMINDED ME THAT MY MOTHER WHO WAS BORN JULY 10 1913 WOULD HAVE BEEN 99 HAD SHE LIVED AS LONG AS HER BEST FRIEND. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I SAW HER IN THE OFFICE WITH STELLA. SHE WAS STILL FIESTY AND DETERMINED TO BE AS INDEPENDENT AS LONG AS SHE COULD. YOU WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO GROW UP UNDER THE WINGS OF SUCH A SPECIAL WOMAN. I CAN ONLY LEAVE YOU I WITH THIS ONE CONSOLING THOUGHT............MAE IS NOW FREE OF ALL PAIN AND DISCOMFORTS ...... MORE IMPORTANT, SHE IS NOW WHERE WE ALL SOMEDAY PRAY TO BE ......WITH HER LOVING GOD SINCERELY.........PHIL LO PRESTI
