Obituary of Tomas Gonzalez, Jr.

Tomas Gonzalez, Jr., age 76 years of Pennsauken, formerly of Camden, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Tomas was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on July 25, 1943 to the late Tomas and Emilia (nee Cruz) Gonzalez. Beloved husband of the late Juanita (nee Ortiz). Devoted father of Marilyn Gonzalez, Juan C. Gonzalez (Luz Beltran), and the late Tomas Gonzalez, III. Loving grandfather of Iliana Peralta and Gregory Thomas Gonzalez and great grandfather of Leilany, Makenzie, and Noah. Dear brother of Iris Maldanado, Antonio “Tony” Gonzalez, Zulma Gonzalez, and the late Ismael Gonzalez, William Gonzalez, and Nilda R. Gonzalez. Tomas enjoyed watching TV and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles. He also loved watching Nascar and western movies. If there was not anything good on to watch, he would resort to watching golf. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Friday, March 6, 2020, from 5:30 – 8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TX 38105.
