Caterini, age 58 of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. She was born in Cape May Court House, NJ and grew up in Wildwood, then Cherry Hill, graduating from Cherry Hill West High School in 1972. In 1976, Donna graduated from Shippensburg State College in PA, with a Bachelors Degree in Communications/Journalism. She was the first female President of the student body. Donna served on the Board of Trustees of the college for two and a half years by gubernatorial appointment. After college, she pursued a career in journalism, working as a reporter in the Shippensburg, Hershey and Harrisburg area, where she then became an editor for the Harrisburg Patriot-News. Throughout her career, Donna was active in many professional and social organizations. Additionally, she lent her fine singing voice to her participation in the Cumberland Choir. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa of Reading, PA; her siblings, Frank of Rio Grande, NJ, Janyce and Nancy of Cherry Hill, NJ, Corinne Wilczynski (Buddy) of Tampa, FL and William of Wildwood, NJ; her beloved stepmother, Elaine of Wildwood, NJ; her nephew, John of Rio Grande, NJ and niece, Natalie of Harrington, DE. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, June 27th from 10:30 AM at the Falco/CARUSO & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Donna's memory to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Rd, Suite 1000, Silver Springs, MD 20910.
